Radical Repair® Barrier Recovery Serum

I’ve been using this product every single day, and I can honestly say it’s become a staple in my skincare routine. It’s the perfect texture somewhere between a cream and a serum so it feels lightweight while still being deeply nourishing.
One of my favorite ways to use it is both before and after applying my retinol. It has made such a difference in keeping my skin comfortable and hydrated, and I no longer experience the dryness and irritation I used to.

My skin feels healthier, and incredibly hydrated. I also struggle with redness on my cheeks and rosacea, and since consistently using this product, my redness has noticeably calmed down. My complexion looks more even, less irritated, and overall much healthier.

This serum is creamy and soothing. After applying my skin felt calmer, taut but not dry. My first time applying and my skin already looked better and firmer.

I really enjoy how this feels and works for my acne prone skin - it's the perfect consistency, not too thick or thin, and has a very fresh and not overpowering scent. This serum is unique in that it’s a bit creamy compared to others from OneKind. I like the feel of it and how it leaves my skin soft, even before finishing with a moisturizer. The only reason I rated it 4 stars, is that I didn’t notice a huge difference in my skin after using it for a week. That being said, I don’t have very sensitive skin, and it was not irritated or red at the time I tried it. I look forward to using it next time my skin gets sunburned, windburned, or just feels stressed, because I imagine it’ll be super nice to have then.

The serum left my sensitive aging combination skin feeling supple, moisturized, and happy. It is a great addition to my OneKind skin routine.

Radical repair barrier recovery serum is just that, recovery for dry aging skin. Use it twice a day and I love it. It feels like the first step of my moisturizing routine. Usually with retinol products, my skin feels dry and burning. With this product, my skin feels pampered and moisturized.

This serum is wonderful for my sensitive, reactive skin. It is very sheer, non-sticky and is super compatible with other treatments, actives, and moisturizers. It goes on easily, is odorless and a little goes a long way. I’ve been using it morning and night and have experienced less redness and stinging. I’m excited to see the long term results, especially since I’ve been using it along with the Radical Repair Cleanser and the Radical Repair Barrier Balm. I highly recommend this serum!

This is a great serum that fits right into my OneKind regimen. It does add an extra step but it really calmed my skin and improved the texture.

This serum is so gentle. I used it on my irritated skin and it reduced the redness and instantly calmed my barrier. It’s a smooth, creamy texture that feels great when applied and absorbs quickly so you can layer it with any other products. It doesn’t have a smell which is helpful for all the sensitive skin girlies out there. Will definitely repurchase this once I run out!

On the day I started using Onekind's Radical Repair serum, I was starting to have a barrier disruption from using a cream that was too heavy for my skin. My skin stung and a breakout was starting. I have my go-to products that I usually use to repair but they take a while to work and I suffer in the meantime. I cannot say this loud enough - this Radical Repair serum stopped my barrier disruption in its tracks. It did not progress to a full-blown disruption. My skin recovered in less than 24 hours. This experience is incredibly unique. After that first day, I could actually feel my skin barrier getting stronger. I have never, with any product, actually been able to feel the strengthening happening. Ten days in, my face is feeling so nourished and healthy. It looks healthier. The consistency is great - thick enough to stay in place on my hand until I apply it, and it absorbs impressively fast. I have had no adverse reactions and the quality of the ingredients are fantastic. This is a great serum to have on had when you feel a disruption coming on. Even better, this is a great serum to nourish your skin with every day!

I have been using this product day and night for 3 weeks and have loved it.

The first thing I noticed about this serum was how easy it was to spread across my skin and how it sunk into my skin, leaving a velvety texture.

My favorite way to layer this serum is to use it after my Vitamin C serum in the am and after my Retinol in the evening. Layering it this way makes my skin feel like it is locking in the treatment and creating a smooth base for moisturizer or my tinted SPF. There is a very slight numbing zing to this cream (just like the Radical Repair Barrier Balm) which I love. I imagine a barrier or shield locking into place. My skin feels comforted and soothed after use and after the first week, a bit more even. Some days I couldn’t remember if I had applied concealer!

During my 3rd week of use I took this serum on a 5-night rafting trip in the blazing sun. My skin was exposed to a lot of elements - cold water, hot sun, crazy wind and dryness. I couldn’t wait to slather this on my skin in the afternoons. I returned from the trip with surprisingly even skin tone and less redness than I expected. I think the serum did a great job creating a barrier and prepping/calming my skin. The format also held up and didn’t get watery in the sun and heat which was a plus.

5 stars for smooth texture, ability to layer products and creating even skin tone.

Love the feel of this product and I feel like it works well for what I was wanting to use it for. I tested it out using it twice a day for one week and after seeing how my skin reacted I have gone down to once a day and that seems to be enough for my skin. Love onekind and the Radical Repair line.

I was surprised by how quickly the product seemed to work and how great my skin felt afterwards. I wish most products worked as well and effectively!

I have very sensitive/reactive skin that is often blotchy or broken out. I tried this product while on my cycle and it stood up to the challenge. While using the serum, my skin was much more even, redness was reduced, and my pores were far less visible. My skin felt more hydrated, appeared more even, and healthy.

The serum is the perfect consistency. I really like that it’s easy to put on and stays on I haven’t noticed huge results yet but it’s been great to wear and has good ingredients.
