"It smells amazing, and my skin feels softer at the end of the day."
"It goes on smoothly and leaves a dewy glow. It's a perfect primer and doesn't cause white specks as many sunscreens do with makeup. Highly recommend!"
From our co-founder, Madison:
"This SPF serum is the first I’ve ever actually looked forward to wearing. I love that it goes on without a white cast but isn’t tinted, and it leaves my skin dewy and glowing. Plus, it’s a smooth base for makeup - but my skin looks so great, I’ve been going without.”
Take my word for it: if you want soft dewy skin that lasts all day, adding this product to your serums and moisturizers is a MUST! I feel so pampered! Usually after a few hours I can feel my skin losing its moisture. But since I’ve been using Solardrops it literally lasts ALL DAY and I feel like a superhero knowing I’m protecting my skin from sun damage. This product really ups your skincare regime!
Finally an SPF that doesn’t feel and smell like I’m headed to the pool on vacation. This is the first spf I’ve used that actually soaks into the skin and leaves my skin looking hydrated and not greasy/oily! Love that it also doesn’t smell like traditional spf. It does take a minute or two to soak in- so don’t worry about the initial shine. So happy with this new product
I've been waiting for a Onekind SPF forever and I'm so happy they finally made one and that it's mineral. I like that it also hydrates so I've been using it as a substitution for moisturizer and oil. I really like when products multitask so I can keep my routine simple. And I like the way my skin looks after using it. Just give it a few minutes to absorb because at first I thought it was a tad shiny but then it faded quickly into just a nice glow that lasts all day.
I’m one of the lucky ones who got a chance to try this product early, and wow! I’ve loved all of Onekind’s products, but I think Solardrops has taken the crown. 🤴
It feels so luxurious, is incredibly light-weight, natural fragrance is subtly perfect, and it gives no blue/white-cast — unlike any other mineral-based SPFs I’ve tried. I forget that I even put an SPF on! TBH, I’ve always hated using SPF (I know… I’m so bad), but after just a week of using this I can’t go without it.
I’ll definitely be getting my hands on it as soon as it’s officially released, and will make sure my shelf is never without it. 🏆
I'll be honest. I know I'm supposed to wear sunscreen daily but I've always dreaded it. But Solardrops changes everything. It doesn't leave a color tint but somehow makes my skin look smoother and more even - more so than the tinted SPFs I've tried to like in the past. Also, I always opt for mineral SPF (cleaner and doesn't make me break out), but I hate how it usually leaves you looking chalky and pale. I was thrilled that Solardrops gives a healthy, dewy finish to my skin! Perfect for summer.
I love OneKind but this product was not my favorite. There was no white cast and the tint worked well with my skin tone but the sunscreen felt very heavy and sticky on my skin and made my skin look greasy/oily for the rest of the day. I also felt like my makeup did not go on well after using Solardrops and also looked greasy.
Solardrops are approaching a great mineral daily sunscreen for face, but just fell a bit short of amazing for my skin. I'm in my 40s with combination/sensitive skin (type) and some dehydration (issue). I'm also fair skinned and have some evidence of previous sun damage and age (couple of spots of discoloration, some wrinkles). The first day I used Solardrops I had some irritation and a bit of a blue caste. Subsequent days I did a better job of warming the product in my hands (which I strongly recommend) reducing irritation and improving the distribution on my face. Pros- good consistency, goes on smoothly, offers a bit of a tint, and doesn't interfere with make-up application. Cons- smell is a bit strong (I like it, but for those who don't like a fragrance this isn't it), blue/white caste (minimal but present for me) after application, and settled into my wrinkles requiring a bit more finesse for perfect application. On the whole I don't know that I would exclusively use these, but they likely will remain in my regular rotation of sunscreens.
it's got a nice texture although it's a bit hard to spread on the face. it absorbs well though and does not leave a film or residue which I have often experienced with some other spf moisturizers esp as a non white male. I didn't really like the smell- it has a faint sunblock smell that lingers throughout the day. I really enjoy the subtle smell of other onekind products so this one was a bit disappointing from that regard. That being said, SPF 55 is a really high protection rating and it's mineral based so the slight scent is forgivable.
I'll start with the negatives; I've learned that any time a product claims to leave your face "dewy," for me it means "greasy." It does feel a bit heavy on. That being said, it does say to leave on 3-5 minutes to soak in. It's a little longer than that, but the greasiness DOES eventually fade to just a softness. Also, thanks to a long run of cloudy weather I haven't been able to really test the SPF efficacy, but I don't see any new sunspots. The POSITIVES; there is no white cast at all, and it has a barely-there shimmer that isn't glittery at all, just a soft glow. It smells amazing, and my skin feels softer at the end of the day. It probably won't replace my regular moisturizer, but I will use it for those times I know I'll be outside all day!
I jumped at the chance to test out Solardrops.
I am a Floridian and an SPF face product is as much a daily essential as sunglasses!
Solardrops is the first SPF face product that has not irritated my eyes or made my skin feel goopy, and I have tried many .
It has a smooth and dewy feeling when applying and seems to stay around for several hours, which is a good thing as who wants to be concerned about sunscreen wearing off in the middle of a bike ride?
I was happy to use this for the last few weeks and feel that I have found a "skincare wardrobe" staple at last.
Smells refreshing also.
